POWERS CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017

THE WINE:

Sourced from a single vineyard in Yakima Valley, this Cabernet evokes a complex array of dried Bing cherry, blackcurrant, bramble berries and anise, with a dollop of butterscotch. There’s a sturdy backbone of acidity, impressive intensity, nicely measured oak, and a mineral note on the finish.

TASTING NOTES:

Aromas of bright blueberry, dark cherry, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, layered notes of dried cherries, plum, licorice, tobacco, and white pepper

THE WINERY:

In carrying on the traditions that Bill Powers has pioneered in growing some of the finest fruit in the Columbia Valley for over 40 years.

Powers Winery has continued to lead the industry in low-impact farming practices while cultivating strong partnerships with other top vineyard sites in the Valley.

Powers wines are creatively blended to showcase the amazing diversity, quality, and value of wine from the Columbia Valley. As a symbol of Bill’s indelible mark on Washington State viticulture, you will find his fingerprint and silhouette on every bottle.
