THE WINE:

The vines of Chateau Le Temple are situated on Garonne gravel and extend to 15 hectares (about 37 acres). The blend predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot and Petit Verdot provides the elegance and finesse of this “Grand Vin”.

In keeping with tradition, this “prestige” wine has matured for 12 months in fresh oak barrels. Enjoy its company from aperitif through to dessert.

TASTING NOTES:

The 2015 Le Temple has a lovely ripe red cherry and cranberry-scented bouquet with just a faint whiff of cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity, harmonious and focused with a fresh, delightful finish. Great stuff! This comes recommended. Drink date: 2018-2027.
