THE WINERY:

Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin has been owned by the popular Pitou family since they first purchased the estate all the way back in 1870. Today, Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin is managed by a direct descendant of the original founder, Louis Poitou. In fact, Lionel Poitou and Carol Poitou are the fifth generation in their family to manage Chateau Tour du Haut Moulin.

The vineyard is situated inland in the Haut Medoc appellation. This places the estate in the communes of Fort Medoc and Cussac and not too far from Chateau Beaumont in the middle of both the St. Julien and Margaux appellations.
